Do I need a partner or any padel experience?
No. The free placement assessment works solo, and Academy groups are matched to your level — so first-timers train with first-timers, not against club regulars.
What happens at the placement assessment?
You spend time on court with a coach while we assess your movement, positioning, shot selection and overall game understanding. It's free, there's no obligation, and it tells us which group suits you.
What should I bring?
Yourself and comfortable sports shoes with non-marking soles. Rackets and balls are provided if you don't have your own yet.
Should I do private coaching or the Academy?
They work best together. Private coaching teaches you how to execute a shot correctly; the Academy teaches you when, where and why to use it in a real match.
Is there a discount for booking multiple lessons?
Yes. Ten private lessons booked up front cost R6 500 — that's R650 a lesson instead of R750, saving R1 000. It also keeps you accountable to a block of work rather than a one-off session.
How big are the Academy groups?
Kept small and matched to your level, so you're always training with players at a similar stage — not thrown into a big supervised social session.
When do Academy cycles start?
New academy cycles start at the beginning of each month.
Which venue will I train at?
Aura Padel Woodstock or Aura Padel Milnerton. Message Coach Hasan and he'll confirm which one your block runs at.
